I have always loved getting my nails done for as long as I could remember and when Covid hit, everything shut down. Going to get my nails done was no longer an option. At home DIY kits became very popular and I fell victim to them thinking it would be so easy to do myself. I was wrong and during lockdown, I gave myself contact dermatitis.

In 2025 I got the hare brained idea to make my own press ons with the hope they would last much longer than regular polish. It didn't take long after a few internet searches to find out that my idea was not all that new and my deep dive into the world of press ons began, and has only grown from there.

Tell Tale Nails was born because yes, I do love Poe's Tell Tale Heart, but I believe that your nails also tell a story about how you're feeling in that moment; kind of like how a tattoo tells a story about a specific moment or memory in your life, but unlike tattoos, you can change them to suit your mood.
